Prom was absolutly amazing and I'm sorry I'm so behind in writing about it. Rick, you were so sweet and I enjoyed spending the evening with you. We went with an amazing group of people (haha band kids)... and the hummer limo was a blast. Especially Trevor managing to get in trouble within the first five minutes of the ride. I don't think I'll ever forget Suhaib coming up behind Trevor and dancing with him... oh goodness. My friends are the greatest. I especially wanted to thank Rick (of course), Steven, Ivo and Trevor for dancing with me. You boys deserve more credit than I give you. As tradition, our last song was our graduation song and I liked how our group stopped dancing in couples in formed one big circle on the dance floor (and then Suhaib kills it saying "alright guys, this is big, this is our moment" haha)
Bahama Bash, oh goodness, it was fun. I was exhausted before we even got there but that didn't seem to matter. Rick and I weren't particularly talented at the money grab booth, but we did better than Jess's 3 bills or so. I challenged Rick on the obstacle course and he beat me horribly. Then Ivo challenged me and I threatened to beat him up if he didn't wait for me... so we tied. I fought Ivo on the pillow fight game for a good 30 minutes straight with Atman laughing at Ivo's attempts to rewrite the laws of physics. The mechanical bull was by far one of the funnest things I've ever done. I held the record of 31 seconds for a good part of the night, only because they go easy on girls. Robert pretty much decapitated the poor bull with his ninja sword. As for the best dressed, I'd have to vote Chris Wilson the "Border Patrol Man" and Meredith McMurry the "Illegal Immigrant". Haha it was wrong, but it was hilarious.
After Bahama Bash, Rick drove us to Steven's house where a good group of us crashed for about 3 hours and woke up to Steven's mom making us a delicious breakfast. I left shortly after and had to stay awake the remainder of the day for Mother's Day. I awoke the next morning with the worst stiff neck I've ever had in my life (Ivo, as well.) Probably with respect to the bungee rope game. I fell on my head a good three times on that one. Overall, I thought prom/bahama bash was overrated going in, but I was proved wrong. I couldn't think of a better way to end my high school years. Thanks to everyone who was a part of it with me. <3
As for the rest of the year, it's coming faster than I expected. I have my last dance recital on Sunday and I'm so excited that so many of you are coming to see me. I know you don't realize it, but that means the world to me. Dance will be the hardest thing for me to say good bye to. High school was 4 years of my life, dance was 11. There's no comparision. Regan, I'll keep in touch and I'll be at every competition that I can. I love you and all my dance invasion girls.
